Huize Tergast: monumental villa with wellness and cinema

Huize Tergast is build in 1905. Gasselternijveen was in the beginning of 1900 the 4th biggest port of the Netherlands. In the former mayor house are lots of elements left of the Art Nouveau/Jugendstil period. The house shows the old, distinguished atmosphere from those days, with warm colours, beautiful ornamental ceilings and marble fireplaces.

Huize Tergast is suitable for 24 persons and accessible for disabled people. On the ground floor is a bedroom and shower/toilet fit for wheelchairs. Huize Tergast is allergy friendly. Smoking is not allowed. It is possible to bring up to 3 pets with you.

For a short period you are the master of the house, because you rent the whole house with the garden. When you are inside the property, you'll feel like you are in 1905. The garden was designed as an old English garden with century old trees and a beautiful little lake in the midst. The comfort of the house is like you expect in the 21th century: luxerious livingrooms and kitchen, 10 bedrooms with 8 bathrooms.

Inside the House there is a real cinema with a 2 x 3 meter screen. The screen enables you to watch movies but also to play a very realistic game play using the Wii-U. The bar is a perfect setting for late night social gatherings....

The younger visitors will be happy with a playroom, specially decorated for them. And outside a sandbox and play grounds.

There are luxury spa facilities, containing a wonderful outdoor sauna and Jacuzzi. Especially when it rains or when it’s cold outside, the heat of the Finnish sauna or the hot water in the Jacuzzi is a very healthy and enjoyable contrast. It is wellness to the fullest!!

You always rent the complete house and can use all the equipments as you like.

  1. Fam. Kroon says:
