This Farmhous is a large and luxurious group accommodation in the shape of a monumental chalet farm, with two walled-in sheds, heating shack, grounds and winding garden with canal. This holiday residence close to the Wadden sea offers beautiful panoramic views and a lot of privacy.
Except for holidays, this holiday farm is also perfectly suitable for a family weekend or company trip, for groups of friends or reunions, and also in midweeks for courses, trainings, sinking days and team building meetings. In short: a suitable accommodation for all groups.
The country house is a very spacious and luxurious holiday house for twenty persons. The entirety consists of a house with an extra floor and two walled-in sheds. The living quarters of this group residence covers 600 m2. This beautiful holiday farm is located in the grand landscape of Groningen, at the north of the Oude Dijk, at several kilometres from the mud flats of Groningen. There are historical monuments in the environment, such as the Menkemaborg.
There is a total of 10 bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. Three of these are located in one of the sheds, in direct connection with the house. There is a greenhouse in the other shed, which contains 3 bedrooms and an indoor recreation room in which a swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and table-tennis table are located. Wireless internet (WiFi) is available throughout the house. You can connect your laptop to the beamer to show films or photos. A Wii gaming console is present. The house, that can be considered part of the rich corn republic of Groningen, has preserved its authentic stay and ornaments. You will find the luxury of the former life of the farmers there; beautiful ceilings, doors, marble floors and stained glass, and also the bed boxes of the staff, an undamaged horse mill, a churning room with pump and a milk cellar.

The farmhouse lies in the Hogeland next to the shallow sea called Wadden sea. This sea is part of the world heritage with the tides, the flora and fauna. While strolling over the sea-dike you can enjoy the peacefulness.

From Noordpolderzijl, you can walk onto the Wadden sea or take a combined cruise and walk trip to the island Rottumeroog. During your trip you'll see hundreds of seals.

Wat een prachtig huis! Wij waren er met een hele familie met kinderen in diverse leeftijden en iedereen heeft zich uitstekend vermaakt. Voldoende privacy door de ruimte en ieder een eigen badkamer. Meer dan genoeg speelruimte voor de kinderen. En het zwembad en jacuzzi waren natuurlijk helemaal fantastisch! Door het wat mindere weer hebben de kinderen ook goed gebruik gemaakt van de Wii, we hadden zelf een spel meegenomen. Wij hebben genoten, voor herhaling vatbaar!
Wij vonden het helemaal geweldig, de koffie stond klaar, de kinderen doken direct het zwembad in en er was ruimte om je terug te trekken als je dat wilde. Alles was netjes schoon en goed verzorgd. Compliment voor de beheerster. Ook onze reisgenoten hebben het heerlijk gehad. Zijn moe maar voldaan weer vertrokken.
Wir haben die Woche mit fünf Familien genossen. Besonderes die große Spielscheune und der Pool waren für die Kinder (0-8 Jahre) hervorragend geeignet und ließen das schlechte Wetter zur Nebensache werden. Das Haus ist modern und gut ausgestattet, der persönliche Empfang freundlich.
Het huis was super. voor de kinderen was er van alles aanwezig.
unsere Großfamilie (Großmutter, vier Töchter, acht erwachsene Enkel mit Freunden) haben eine wunderschöne Woche in dem großzügig angelegten Haus verlebt. Der herzliche Empfang in dem blitzsauberen, vorgewärmten Haus tat uns nach der langen Anreise richtig gut, wir fühlten uns sofort geborgen. Die Einrichtung, sowohl der Schlafräume,wie auch der Wohnräume und der Küche oder der Spielscheune entsprechen dem Komfort eines 5-Sterne-Wellness-Hotels. Es trat keine Minute Langeweile oder Leerlauf auf.
Den fehlenden Sandstrand kompensierten wir mit einem Tagesausflug zur Insel Borkum .
Insgesamt können wir der Anlage die Note „sehr gut“ geben. Wir haben es deshalb sofort für das nächste Jahr im August gebucht und freuen uns schon auf die schöne Zeit in dem herrlichen Landhaus.
Zeer ruime kamers (10!) en mooi zwembad ruimte met sauna en whirlpool en in de grote schuur allerlei spelen zoals tafeltennis waar wij veel gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Prettige sfeer en alles prima in orde. Jammer dat we er geen week waren! Sinterklaas gevierd met elkaar en een wandeling gemaakt bij het wad. Zou het voor grote gezinnen (ook met zeer kleine kinderen) zeker aanraden!
Prachtig huis. Alles volop aanwezig. Van jong tot oud heeft zich vermaakt. Rondvaart Groningen leuk, Delfzijl leuke plaats.
