The rural country house is suitable for 16 to 20 people. You will stay between pasture and water in a restored, authentic, over 100 year old farmhouse. The Veenhoeve is luxurious and comfortably furnished. The characteristic beams of the farm form a beautiful background for the both rural and modern interior.
The Veenhoeve contains 8 spacious double rooms, 4 of which with an extra bed. The bedrooms come with an en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms and bathrooms are wheelchair-accessible.
The luxurious and comfortably furnished holiday home is fully provided by the Frisian furniture designer Gjalt Pilat (Pilat & Pilat). The art in and around the House has been created by the artist duo Koos Fransen en Gea Wemer. From the kitchen you have a beautiful view at the countryside of Friesland. You can easily walk outside and sit on the terrace and enjoy the sun and the peacefulness. There is a big table and a grill to prepare your dinner on.
The kitchen is fully equiped with a cooking island, microwave, dishwasher and everything else you need.
Two bedrooms are suitable for the disabled. The bathrooms don't have grab bars. If you need them, please discuss the possibilities.
In a separate part of the house live the house owners. Behind the holiday home lies a mini-camping. You won't be bothered by other guests, because you have your own entrance and terraces.

Wij zijn hier met een grote groep geweest en hebben een erg geslaagd weekend gehad. Het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving met veel ruimte er om heen. Erg mooi en prettig ingericht, fijne bedden en kamers. Ruime woonkamer met bijv een beamer om films te kijken. Zeer luxe keuken waar je gemakkelijk voor de hele groep kan koken.
Buiten en fijn groot terras en ‘s avonds kregen we er zelfs een houtkachel buiten bij, erg gezellig natuurlijk.
Het is een fantastisch huis met heel veel ruime kamers. De keuken is groot en voorzien van alle gemakken. De bedden waren opgemaakt toen we aankwamen. Helemaal super. We hebben ons prima vermaakt met 19 personen. Er is een grote tuin en speeltoestellen voor de kinderen.
Met drie gezinnen (6 volwassenen en 8 kinderen) een fantastische week doorgebracht. Een groot en luxe nieuw ingerichte woonboerderij. Erg ruime woonkamer met verschillende zitjes en grote eet/speeltafel. Grote profesionele keuken met Jura koffiezetapparaat en vaatwasser die in 3 minuten! klaar is. Ieder slaapkamer heeft zeer comfortabele bedden en een eigen nieuwe badkamer. Doordat de slaapkamers verdeelt zijn over het huis heeft iedereen veel privacy.
Landelijke ligging net buiten Gorredijk waar je heerlijk uit kunt waaien. De eigenaren wonen naast het huis en zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
