There are 10 bedrooms with 9 bath rooms. In the kitchen you can prepare a delicious dinner which you can enjoy at the large dining table with a view on the surrounding hills.
Landhaus Waldeifel XL is suitable for 22 persons. From the terrace, from the kitchen and from the living room you have an amazing view on the hills and woods that surround the village Malberg. As soon as the sun appears over the hilltops you are able to enjoy the first sunbeams inside your kitchen. Only one of the many aspects that make this holiday house so special. On the north side there is a room with woodstove and recreation possibilities like table football, chest and other games. From the house you have plenty of possibilities to enjoy the environment by foot or bicycle.
You are for a short period of time lord and lady of the house, because you rent the house (720 m2) and garden (1600 m2) completely. The garden offers all possibilities to sport, play or sun bathing. On the terrace, with a big BBQ, you can eat as luxurious as inside. There are many parking places on the grounds. The house is very spacious so you can always find a quiet place to sit or find people to enjoy the time together. The indoor swimming pool is great for the young and the old. Next to it is a sauna for 5 persons and a lovely 2-seats jacuzzi. You will return home completely relaxed!
Landhaus Waldeifel XL has 10 spacious bedrooms with 9 luxury bathrooms. In the main building are 8 bedrooms en-suite and in the annex are another 2 bedrooms with one bath room. Here is also an extra kitchen and living.

On a rock plateau towers the 300 year old baroque castle over the village Malberg. There are guided tours on Saturday afternoons from April to October. Groups of minimally 15 persons can book a tour on a chosen time. Malberg is mentioned for the first time in 893 AD. There are occasional exhibits and concerts throughout the year.

Burg Eltz is one of the most beautiful and well preserved castles in Germany. It is located romantically in it's original landscape. Different counts have added parts to the original castle forming it into a real fairytale castle. It's open from April 1st to November 1st. The castle can be reached by a beautiful walk.

The town Kyllburg, from 800 AD, was in the middle ages the centre of the region with it's own jurisdiction and court. In 1276 Heinrich von Finstingen ordered to build a monastery that existed till 1803. The Gothic Stifskirche Kyllburg is known for her precious Renaissance window and the cloister. The church is a well preserved Collegiate church from the 13th century and can be visited daily.

Abtei Himmerod is an abbey that is still inhabited by monks. Events are organised regularly, like meditation walks, concerts and workshops. You can visit the abbey and enjoy the food in the restaurant every day of the year. Also, you can start several walking tracks through the forrest at the abbey.

Reichsburg Cochem exists since 1000 AD and in the year 1151 it became a state castle. In 1689 the castle was set on fire but was rebuild in 1868. For children there is a wild park in the Eifelpark in Gondorf. Here you find breathtaking natural scenes and wonderful shows with e.g. birds of prey, bears, lynxes and steenbok. In the middle of the wood and mountain landscape of the Eifel you find the Eifel-Zoo. It's an animal park where you can see the animals from up close. In Traben Trarbach a unique collection of Buddha sculptures can be found. The world of Buddhism can be seen and listened to. The museum teaches the guests the philosophy and way of living of Buddha. Above Trarbach towers the 'Grevenburg' , the remains of a castle that was blown up by the French in 1735. Little remains of the medieval town after raging fires in 1761 and 1857. On both sides of the Moselle there are no half-timbered houses left due to these fires. Especially in Traben, you will find 'modern' architectural styles like Jugendstil (Art Nouveau).

Was für eine schöne Osterwoche!
Das Haus ist wie für uns (16 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder + 1 Hund) gemacht. Wir haben gekocht (Süperküche), geschlemmt, gefeiert (Ina ist 30 geworden), Krimi-Rollenspiele aufgeführt und Werwölfe gejagt.
Wir haben solche Touren schon des Öfterem gemacht, aber noch nie ein so gut ausgestattest Haus vorgefunden, wie hier in Malberg!
Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und sind sicher, das wir wiederkommen werden!

Ondanks de vele regen, hebben we een fantastisch lang weekend gehad met de hele familie in een heerlijk huis met alles erop en eraan.
Mooie groene omgeving, leuke dorpjes en een prachtig uitzicht.

Deze omgeving zal altijd in onze gedachten blijven
dat wilde ik even opschrijven.
De familie heeft een superweekend gehad!! Veel in de sauna gezeten. Het zwembad was prima op temperatuur. Het samenzijn in de prachtige omgeving, maakt het familieweekend compleet.
Wie schon letztes Jahr haben wir uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.
Auch das schlechte Wetter konnte uns die Laune nicht vermiesen.
